    Morton Fraser is one of Scotlands thriving top-ten law firms. With over 260 employees and offices in Edinburgh, Glasgow and London the company services clients in the private and public sectors, and offers clear advice and guidance to individuals and families.

The Brief

The core message from Morton Fraser is one of clarity. The firm prides itself on its straight-talking approach along with care and attention to detail. Their existing website however, didn’t reflect this. It was difficult for users to navigate and needed to offer a more engaging user-journey.

The Result

With some straightforward additions we’ve improved the site dramatically. The four key markets are now colour coded and listed clearly on a drop-down menu that can be accessed from every page on the site, as well as at the centre of the home page. We’ve also added a ‘sticky’ menu to the left-hand side of the site. This means that it stays static when the user scrolls down the page, thereby improving the user experience. The menu also lists the four key markets which gives yet another route for the user to follow. Once they’ve found their destination there’s a simple ‘breadcrumb’ trail to guide them back to previous pages should they wish to do so.

Morton Fraser now has a website which reflects the message of clarity which runs through everything the company does.
