Project background
Owen James Events connects senior decision-makers across the financial services sector with peers and solution providers through high-end, in-person events. Their team needed a new website that reflected the premium quality of their services while making it much easier to post and manage upcoming events, promote their subscription product, and handle attendee applications online.
Their legacy CMS was limiting and inflexible. They turned to us to rebuild the site on a modern CMS that would give them full control over content while also improving the user experience for visitors.
Objectives
- Rebuild the website using a flexible, modern CMS.
- Enable content editors to manage and publish in-person events easily.
- Allow users to apply to attend events via simple online forms.
- Promote their paid subscription service, The Pulse.
- Create a structured, content-first editing experience that scales.

Our solution
We delivered a fully bespoke website built in Statamic, a flat-file CMS with a powerful, content-first approach. This allowed us to give Owen James full editorial control with custom-built blocks designed specifically for how they work.
