We worked with the Royal Company of Archers (as introduced on kbgsrca.co.uk) to develop a private online members’ portal to support the day-to-day coordination of ceremonial and social duties.

Project objectives

Provide a secure online space for distributing event details and updates

Enable members to manage their attendance and payments

Support administrators in communicating with members efficiently

Ensure privacy and restricted access to sensitive content
Key features & solutions
Secure, invite-only access
The portal is strictly private. Access is by invitation only, and all user registrations are manually approved by administrators. This ensures that only verified members can view or interact with portal content.
Event & duty management
While the specifics are confidential, the system enables administrators to publish and manage ceremonial and social events. Members can view relevant information in a clear, structured format, keeping everyone informed and aligned.
Integrated payments with WooCommerce
We used WooCommerce to handle annual membership fees and ticketed event payments. This provides a familiar and secure checkout process for members while simplifying back-office admin. Payment records are tied to each member profile, giving admins full visibility over who has paid and when.
Mobile-responsive and easy to use
The portal was built with ease of use in mind. Whether accessing from desktop or mobile, members can quickly find the information they need. The admin interface is equally straightforward, allowing non-technical users to update content and manage users with minimal training.
The outcome
The Archer’s Hall Members’ Portal provides a discreet, secure and practical solution tailored to the needs of a unique and historic organisation. It allows administrators to manage duties and events efficiently, and members to stay informed and engaged, all within a private, members-only environment.
